Is there supposed to be a hero sheet for the 6 archetypes, beyond the handouts? I see the "say the line" data for each of them as well as their "if dead" ability, but I don't see their "while alive" abilities, skills, or their characteristics (MARIP) scores. Not sure what was intended here?
The handouts are not pre-gen characters! They are meant to be *additional* stuff on top of a 2nd level hero. Basically, the left side of the handout is stuff they get while alive (their title and "Say the Line"). The top right is what they get if they die (a triggered action). The bottom right is how their title changes if they survive the whole adventure and keep playing that character.
So each of your players makes their 2nd-level hero like they would normally. Class, kit if they get one, culture, complication etc etc. I recommend using Forge Steel (https://andyaiken.github.io/forgesteel/) Then, you give them their archetype. That's extra!
So your party might have a Jock Fury and a Diva Troubadour, or they could just as easily have a Jock Troubadour and a Diva Fury!
